The kids joined me in the kitchen this morning to cook Daddy one of his favorites! We also put together a photo collage and they made sweet homemade cards for him. Everything's all done.....so we ever so quietly sneek in the bedroom where Daddy's still snoozing and the kids jump on the bed and say 'Happy Father's Day!' (Jackson says 'Day')!! After breakfast Clay wanted to do one of things he loves...Fishing! So, we went down to the lake and did some fishing. We didn't catch anything today (other than fresh water shrimp, which left the kids amused!) The time was well spent with the ones we love. The kids and Barbie played in the water and enjoyed the sunshine. By the time we got back home Clay wanted to work on the chicken coop (we're getting ready for our farm fresh eggs!), so the kids and I got in the pool. After that we came inside and enjoyed watching an incredible race!!! Our All-time Favorite Driver, Dale Earnhardt Jr WON!!! (Way to go #88) After completely losing my voice from cheering him on we are now relaxing on the back porch frying up some catfish!!!
