This past weekend we visited the Theodore Roosevelt National Park. It was pretty amazing!! It's also a part of the 'badlands'. The views were stunning and with the Fall, crisp air well set in...it was well...amazing!! We rode 6 miles through the park because the other half was closed due to slumping and erosion of the road (under construction). After seeing 2 turkey's, a rattlesnake, long horn's, and little specks of buffalo in the distance, we were shocked as we made our way around a curve and had a close encounter with a buffalo!!
Needless to say, it was a day we will always remember!
