Knock, Knock....It's Old Man Winter

My husband, Clay had to go to Bismarck Sunday evening with his boss. They were both taking some utility/underground/contractor's licenses first thing Monday morning. Clay called me after he got to the hotel and then again after they got back from dinner. I guess he decided to rub it in my face that he was eating at Texas Roadhouse :) I love that place!

They only got the study materials 4 days before test! So, for the past couple of days he was studying when he could and made sure to read the entire book the night before, only to discover the test is based on interpretation. So, needless to say it was kind of a waste to study. But, they did both pass! After the test they went to Scheels (kind of like Bass Pro Shop). He picked up some new arrows he's been eyeballing forever. (And, can I mention? What a great boss!)

Anyway, he got home right after I was picking Maddie up from school. So, he went with us to pick up this little desk I'm going to refinish! Then we picked up something to eat and came home. It was so nice having him back at home. Every time he's gone for the night I can't sleep. I'm paranoid and yes....a scaredy cat.

But, long story short on his way home they passed through a little snow....hence, the photo! :)
